“Misheard” is the first single by Coffeepie. Released on January 6th, 2020 the song, that was featured on FM4 was produced, written and sung by the then 16 year-old artist herself. In the song Coffeepie reflects upon the difficulties of communicating with a loved one, how misunderstandings make us question ourselves and how what we want to communicate gets lost on the way sometimes. It’s also an homage to the artists queer identity and how she and her true self had been overlooked and misheard up to this point.
